How to be magnetic

I've always prided myself in being an extremely genuine + authentic person, but as I grow + mature, I find it even more important so show up as myself - guard down, open heart, no judgments. We all walk around this world with anxieties, fears + insecurities, and it's those of us who are brave enough to say the first thing in the elevator or give that person on the street a compliment that help break these barriers.

I have found the most magnetic people to be the ones who tear down these societal impediments, who walk around with a sense of authenticity like they really do not care what anybody thinks - and what makes them so cool is that you can tell that it's genuine! They have an effortless ease about them that cannot be fabricated.

Some quick ways to be the most magnetic person in the room:

STAY OFF OF YOUR PHONE AS YOU WALK INTO A ROOM; MAKE EYE CONTACT

GIVE THE COMPLIMENT OR STRIKE UP THE CONVERSATION FIRST

BE TRUE TO YOURSELF aka DON'T GIVE A SH*T WHAT PEOPLE THINK

DO THE HARD OR WEIRD OR QUIRKY THING

DON'T TAKE YOURSELF TOO SERIOUSLY; LAUGH AT YOURSELF

WEAR YOUR HEART ON YOUR SLEEVE

DON'T BE AFRAID TO TAKE UP SPACE

LET PEOPLE TALK ABOUT THEMSELVES; BE GENUINELY CURIOUS TO LEARN ABOUT OTHERS

DON'T DOWNPLAY YOUR SUCCESSES; DON'T BE AFRAID TO TALK ABOUT YOURSELF TOO!

CONFIDENCE HAS ALWAYS BEEN, AND ALWAYS WILL BE, KEY

ALWAYS LEAD WITH HONESTY

SAY WHAT YOU MEAN + MEAN WHAT YOU SAY

BE CLEAR ABOUT YOUR BOUNDARIES + ENFORCE THEM OFTEN WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY GOING WITH THE FLOW

STAY OUT OF THE MUNDANE + IN YOUR PASSION

DO LESS. SAY LESS.

THINK BIG, LIVE BOLDLY, AND MAKE IT F*CKING HAPPEN ;)
